Aignep FRL Evo Series: Air Filter (NPTF)

Precision Filtration for Professional Air Systems

Protect your tools and machinery from the invisible enemies of compressed air—water, dust, and rust—with the Aignep FRL Evo Series Filter. As the first line of defense in your air preparation system, this advanced filter utilizes cyclonic centrifugal force and a high-efficiency element to strip contaminants from your airstream before they can damage expensive valves, cylinders, or air tools.

Part of Aignep’s flagship “Evo” line, this unit combines Italian industrial design with rugged performance. It features a modular body that allows it to connect instantly with other Evo components (Regulators, Lubricators) without needing threaded nipples, creating a sleek, leak-free air prep station.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Dual-Stage Separation:
    1. Cyclonic Action: Incoming air is spun at high speed, flinging heavy water droplets and large particles against the bowl wall where they slide down to the drain.
    2. Filter Element: The air then passes through a sintered HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) element (typically 5µm standard, with 20µm/50µm options), trapping fine dust and debris.
  • Modular “Easy-Clamp” System: Forget pipe wrenches and Teflon tape. The Evo Series uses a specialized connecting clamp system. You can assemble a complete FRL station or remove this filter for service by simply unscrewing two hex bolts—no plumbing disassembly required.
  • High-Visibility Bowl: Features a transparent bowl (or sight glass) that lets you check condensate levels at a glance. For harsh environments, an External Bowl Guard is typically included or integrated to protect against impact.
  • Flexible Drain Options:
    • Semi-Automatic (Standard): Drains automatically when pressure is removed (zero pressure), or can be pushed manually to drain while pressurized.
    • Automatic: A float-style drain that opens automatically as soon as water accumulates, perfect for maintenance-free operation.
  • Optimized Flow Dynamics: Engineered with larger internal passages to minimize pressure drop (Delta P), ensuring your tools get maximum power even while the air is being cleaned.
