Unlike standard ball valves that simply block flow, the Evo Shut-Off Valve functions as a 3-way directional control valve. When closed, it blocks the inlet and automatically exhausts downstream pressure, effectively depressurizing the system for safe maintenance and compliance with energy isolation protocols.

Available Actuation Versions

  1. Manual Lockable Shut-Off Valve

The industry standard for primary air isolation and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety.

  • Operation: Features a robust, ergonomic rotary knob for manual On/Off control.
  • Safety Feature: The knob mechanism allows for the insertion of padlocks when in the “Off” position. This physically prevents accidental repressurization during maintenance, aiding in compliance with OSHA and ISO safety standards.
  • Visual Status: High-visibility knob position clearly indicates if the air is On or Off.
  1. Pneumatic Pilot Shut-Off Valve

Ideal for remote operation or hazardous environments where electronics are avoided.

  • Operation: Activated by a remote pneumatic pilot signal (air pressure) rather than a manual hand.
  • Application: Perfect for hard-to-reach installations or “intrinsically safe” zones where electrical sparks must be eliminated.
  • Function: When the pilot signal is removed, the valve returns to the closed position, dumping downstream air.
  1. Electropneumatic (Solenoid) Shut-Off Valve

Designed for full integration with PLCs and automated safety circuits.

  • Operation: Controlled via an electric solenoid coil (available in various voltages like 24VDC, 110VAC, etc.).
  • Automation Ready: Allows your central control system to automatically cut air supply during an Emergency Stop (E-Stop) condition, a door breach, or at the end of a shift to save energy.
  • Manual Override: typically includes a manual override button for testing or commissioning without electrical power.

  • Modular Connectivity: Connects directly to Aignep Evo Filters, Regulators, and Lubricators via the quick-release modular clamp system, or can be used as a standalone inline valve.
